Apologies for asking this question again - looking at previous posts this has been covered already but there seems to be a mixture of answers.

I am planning to install a wall hung sink in the bathroom, which is on a solid (outside) wall.

I was planning to chase out the wall, insulate the pipes and cover with plasterboard / aquapanel. i.e no plaster around the pipes.

1. Is this a reasonable approach or does anyone have any issues with this?

2. A 90 degree bend (or thereabouts) is required when the pipes come out of the wall. Is it best just to bend the pipe rather than use a 90 degree soldered joint or compression fitting?

Thanks

Thats what I did and have had no problems. Like you say as long as nothing corrosive ie:plaster comes into contact with the pipes, I presume you're using copper, you should be fine.

Avoid any joints as if you do get a leak you will have a job getting at it. Use a pipe bender, always try to use the least amount of fittings, less joints means less leaks! You can also get copper conduit type to bury the pipes in, but since your using aquapanel you should be OK.
