I've moved my toilet to about 2 metres down the wall so have some internal work to do on the 110mm pipe

The existing pipe pops out into the bathroom in the wrong direction by 90 degrees to where the toilet is, I plan to put a 90 degree bend on it so it is pointing at the toilet side, but this will mean it is about 70 mm sticking out too far from the wall.

So I need to shift it nearer the wall I have just bought one of the below (magic flex) but it is not really flexible enough and would put pressure on the bend into the vertical downpipe

https://www.wirquin.co.uk/wastes/ma...ible-elbow-soil-pipe-male-to-female-grey.html

Other option would be to put two 135 degree angles together but this would mean 3 joints in a short pipe, or try one of them double angle joints but I don't think this would end up horizontal to the wall

Hope this makes sense, please ask any questions if not, thanks for any help

When working on soil stacks/toilet pipes, you need building regs, so the building regs chap will help you.

If you don't believe me, ring building control on Monday.

When you say help do you mean tell me what I'm allowed to do or advise on a solution

Strictly speaking it needs B Regs as it is the extension of a controlled service or fitting, personally though I'd prefer not to hear about such minor work.

Thanks for taking time to reply

I've kind of resolved the issue, the vertical soil pipe coupler was able to be turned slightly to minimise the angle, I can resolve the issue with either the magic flex joint or a floplast adjustable bend as I only need an angle of less than 20 degrees

I'm thinking adjustable bend rather than the flexi due to the insides being smooth and the flexi is kind of ribbed so more chance of catching waste, does that sound right?
