I had cork tiles over floorboards installed by a builder 5 years ago. I know this isn’t right and should have been laid on ply but they lasted fine and only needed to come up to fix a leak recently. I want to lay replacement cork tiles so they are level with existing flooring. Does anyone have any idea what sort of method and product it looks like be used for these (see photos)? Is it a standard tile adhesive or a contact cement? Does it look like it was self levelled first?

How would you do it to have best chance of it lasting without relaying the whole floor?

Thanks for any advice!
