Corner edging for wallpapered walls

Hi

About 25 years ago I visited a house where the owner had just decorated throughout and noticed that on each convex corner he had a narrow transparent edging strip running from from ceiling to floor, to protect the wallpaper.

Does anyone know if this is still available, what it is actually called and where I am likely to get it. I have looked in a couple of places with no success.

The item I remember though was very much narrower and unobtrusive, one decorating shop I went in today remember it but have not seen it for many years
