Hi
I recently did a small shower enclosure wall finish with beton cire and was really impressed with the finish. We chose to DIY it after getting a horrendous quote of £2500 to have it done (Venetian plaster that was, very similar).
Now I'm going to experiment more and do the kitchen Worktops too, but what I'm not sure on is how to reinforce all the external corners against chips. This stuff can be used for staircases and all sorts so it's pretty hardy but it's not like plaster where you can have an exposed bead which gets painted over.
Any ideas? Just some scrim tape or some mesh maybe?
