Correct boiler temp for gledhill torrent ov

Morning all.

I have a new boiler fitted only 2 days ago and despite using BG they did not know what value to turn thw dial up on my new worcester greenstar 24i boiler. With my old potterton suprima 70 I was told and alway set to max. The fitter did not know so set halfway and the next one who came to get it working 1 day after it was installed as hive system not working and stuck diverted set to 3/4 way. I have a gledhill torrent eco OV 210. Any help appreciated. Funny bit even today no heating as hive not working. I had to do a manual turn on with buttons on panel next to the gledhill. Hopefully another BG engineer tomorrow. 4.2k welll spent....!! Thank you for reading.

Gledhill recommend 75 degrees

Thanks and would that mean the dial on the worcester boiler is set to max as there is no digital display to know what temp it is heating it to.

And does hot water need to be set to on permanently? The BG engineer did not know

Permanently on is how they are supposed to be, unless you’re away or don’t need hot water or heating
The radiators are timed
