Correct Room Thermostat for Remeha Avanta 39c

Hi, I am not sure if the room stat fitted to my Avanta 39c is correct. It is wire to the 24v connector and is 2 wires. The stat is a Drayton CombiStat RTS8. It does not seem to be working as well as it should. I am happy to get another one but need to know what one is compatable to my boiler. The ones Remeha stat in the mannual are hard to find i.e. a Celica 10 Thanks

Which two connections are used on the stat? Should be L and 2.

These stats tend to work better on a 230V system with 3 wires, inc a neutral.

If you can't get it to work well, poss consider changing to a digital battery model, eg the Honeywell DT90e.

The problem was the stat has an anticipation resistor but the boiler was not set correctly. Now set it works well.
