My new flat has steps on the outside to about half the floor height of the flat, then the front door and a langing and more steps up to the hallway inside ( so my front door is down about 6 steps.. ).

the inside steps are not right.. one of the steps seems to be taller than the rest by an inch or so..
lookking down from the top of the steps, it looks like the top two are at a different pitch to the others also, but this might be because of the taller step..

I need to correct this somehow since it catches me out from time to time ( especially after a few beers.. ) .

would packing them out with ply work, or should i shutter and then screed them to even them out?

sounds like alot of work. buy some knee and elbow pads and a crash helmet for when you been drinking. Easiest method will be to screw plywood to them. If using concrete etc you need it to be thick so it dont break up.
