I have a 2003 corsa 1.2 SXi which has done 30k miles. The gearchange is very heavy especially into second. It's as if the clutch is not fully disengaging. Can the clutch be adjusted on this? Any other clues as to what could be causing it?

Corsas have a modified gear linkage that will be fitted FOC if your car is under warranty and cure the problem... nothing to do with the clutch. I replace these quite often (yes i work for vauxhall)

If not you have 2 options.

1, Replace the full linkage, cost £70.00 for part plus labour.
2, Replace the modified part of the linkage, cost £38.00 for part plus labour

You car is covered by a 3 year manufacturers warranty so you could be in luck and get all work done free

Regards,

Mick
