cost of replacing felt roof

Hi got a quotation of 1680pounds for replacing the felt roof by a 3 layers felt
dimensions aprox 24m2 (8X3) does that sound right?

all supplied removal of old one + material & labour

will do so, the guy who gave me that quote already did some roof work in my previous house, but I found this quote excesive but maybe it is just a fair price do not know?

Not bad for Chingford, especially if he is using a decent material.

Single storey/Double storey. I used to charge about that for a garage round that way, but that was with decking repairs if required.

that is for a back extension not garage. with the credit crunch biting me I will way a couple of more years and start saving up then. I will do some flashing where required and wait until it really needs replacing.

If the quote you have is just for replacing the felt system then I would say that's a bit expensive.
