cost of Repointing roof tiles and chimney

Hello all

Any idea how much to repoint 2 chimneys, ridge and crest tiles on a 1930 semi in halesowen, West Midlands.

What are "crest tiles"? Do you mean bonnet hips?

Prices will vary between those that will risk a cat ladder approach and those that favour a scaffold.

For instance, you may get a pair of eager lads do it all in a day off cat ladders and charge say £500, or you may get a safety conscious company charge more than double.

Whatever the cost, repointing roof tiles is a waste of time and money

As Woody said, waste of time repointing, the first frost and the lot will fall out again.
They need rebedding and pointed in one.
