I have a table tennis net bracket which is broken .. basically one part if like a G clamp and the other an L shaped piece of round steel (4mm diameter)

I was going to buy some 'chemical metal' to stick them together, but at about £7 I had second thoughts.

I have some resin and fibreglass, which I used for a campervan repair and have some left over ... and was wondering if I could use this.

I would clamp the sections together in the vice, then put the filler (with fibre strands inside) all around the two metal pieces.

Would this work ?

thanks !

I don't see why not, cut a strip say 18" then dip it in the mixed resin, wrap it round a few times.
