Hi, when fitting flushed spots in a ceiling on a domestic new build i understand i need to fit covers over the rear of the spot to seal the cavity to maintain fire integrity. can any recommed a type or make and are they universal, thanks

A standard two storey house is one fire compartment. If there's an integral garage with a room above then the garage is considered to be a separate fire compartment. It's only when breeching one compartment into another where protective measures need apply (hence the requirement for fire doors between garage and house in this example).
