Coving

Good morning,
I’m having to cut the coving out from the end of a room to add a stud soundproof wall.
Any one have any ideas how to “re-cove” the new wall when I’m done? Mostly, how do I get the angles correct on the bits still on the ceiling if possible.

You can buy a plastic coving mitre which you can offer up to the existing piece, and use a very sharp knife or multi-tool to cut it. Something like this https://www.jewson.co.uk/building-m...ing/products/KWCM0127/knauf-cove-mitre-127mm/

Check coving size in advance to ensure you get the right size!

It’ll have to be the multi tool. The stuff on the ceiling has a ton of plaster holding it up.
