Hi, I have been putting up some coving in the passage. All going smooth until the last bit. The coving has to end on the wall as it cant go straight on as the wall goes up (staircase area)

So how do I get round this. It is possible to end the coving as I have seen it in other houses. But I have no idea as to how to do it. Any tips?!

You simply mitre the last length as if you were going around an external corner.

Hmmm, I know what I mean but this seems unsatisfactory as an answer, if you don't understand, please say :!:

as eddy m says
the only other point i can add is try and work out where
would look best finnising back a few inches often lookes better
depends on your situation

Thanks for the replies guys. Took a while but did finally get there. Looks pretty good I must say. Hard work getting the angles right but the rest can be filled with the adeshive so it looks good. ;) Cheers guys
