CP 61 pump

Hi there can anyone tell me if there is an alternative to this pump on a potterton combi80 as i cannot get one till next thursday many thanks Gavin :?:

Yes - there are some around. Shoreheat do one, ISTR.
But be careful with the ones with plastic rather than metal pump bodies - you have to change the whole thing - not just the head - and the unions tend to leak.
 
Can't you just fit a standard grundfos on it?, myson cp61 is just a bog standard pump.

You need 1" unions though. If you stick to a Myson now known as "Circulating Pumps" the motor off a new one will fit the old bottom end.
 
Potterton do them as well through there interpart service and it comes with an adaptor to fit onto grundfoss bodys as well speed 3 is 15-50 and set on speed 4 its a 15-60 :D
 
Thanks for reply lads but do i understand that a C P 61 is just an equivalent to a Grunfos 15/60 Gavin
 
NO IT IS NOT. PLease read again - we have covered it. A standard Grundfos 15/60 will be useless to you.
