CP 61 pump

Hi there can anyone tell me if there is an alternative to this pump on a potterton combi80 as i cannot get one till next thursday many thanks Gavin

Yes - there are some around. Shoreheat do one, ISTR.
But be careful with the ones with plastic rather than metal pump bodies - you have to change the whole thing - not just the head - and the unions tend to leak.

Or use a CP63 head and leave it on speed 3.

Can't you just fit a standard grundfos on it?, myson cp61 is just a bog standard pump.

You need 1" unions though. If you stick to a Myson now known as "Circulating Pumps" the motor off a new one will fit the old bottom end.

ideal do replacement heads for the cp series, 5 or 6 metre. Around £30.

Potterton do them as well through there interpart service and it comes with an adaptor to fit onto grundfoss bodys as well speed 3 is 15-50 and set on speed 4 its a 15-60

Thanks for reply lads but do i understand that a C P 61 is just an equivalent to a Grunfos 15/60 Gavin

NO IT IS NOT. PLease read again - we have covered it. A standard Grundfos 15/60 will be useless to you.
