Crack from wall not supported properly

Hi
Got this issue upstairs. I believe acro wasn't set properly during knock through. After some advice what's best way to fix it

Assumimg settling has finished, gouge out line enough to take filler, and make good.

Could steel be jacked up tighter . Think that has been the issue
