I'm digging the footings for a new extension and have come across the clay soil pipe. It is about 8m long and there are 2 cracks within the 1st 3m. The remaining 5m is covered in concrete up to 8" thick in places. Should I be concerned about anymore leaks in the concreted area?
I'm going to replace the exposed pipe with pvc pipe, don't know whether to spend hours breaking the concreted area up if it didn't need to.
