I have a metal soil pipe from the toilet going down the side of the house and joins onto a clay pipe just below ground level. Unfortunately when breaking up a concrete path I can now see a crack in the collar of the clay pipe. What is the best way to solve this. Any advise would be appreciated.

remove collar and join with fernco flexi connector that you`ve previously purchased from Drain Center (for example) having measured the outside dia. of both iron + clay pipes
