I live in a mid terraced house 1950s with a passageway between me and my neighbour. The passageway has been plastered. My bathroom is the room above the passageway. Some years back we had a bad leak in the bathroom and a joist had to be replaced. This resulted in a small crack in the passageway developing into a long crack. This was repaired but you can still see where it was. My concern is that we want to put the house up for sale and I'm worried the surveyor will think it is subsidence. Do you think I should get the whole passageway replastered so hopefully he won't see it or just leave it and hope for the best?
