Cracking bathroom paint

Our bathroom ceiling paint keeps cracking.

The plaster is about 3yrs old. The plaster has cracked in the past, but I've sanded back the paint and feathered the edges, widened the cracks, filled them, sanded back, and then repainted a couple of coats with "waterproof paint".

The paint has then cracked again. So I've gone through the same process, except there's been no need to fill cracks in the plaster.

Any ideas how to stop the paint cracking again?

Maybe try bursting the crack open again and filling it with something like this?
