Cracking between mdf and plasterboard

I tried to ‘hide’ a blind and make it look like it was coming from within the ceiling by covering it with MDF board which is flush with the wall which I then painted the same colour as the wall.

There are cracks between the MDF and the plasterboard now - which I presume is because of heat related movement of the MDF.

What’s the best way of fixing this so that it doesn’t crack again?

Thanks in advance!

Just fill and paint. Touch up when it's started to look bad.
Never going to solve that long term.

Only other option is lining paper above window and fill edges to blend in but I'd not bother. Difficult to make good if it cracks.
