Just recently laid a screed floor 85mm over a sound concrete slab, just noticed though that a couple of cracks have appeared. I am presuming that it has just dried out to quickly ( didn't cover to allow for curing ) and that it shouldn't be a problem.

I know its difficult to say without seeing the thing but any thoughts anyone?

Thanks in advance

Probably just a little shrinkage. Wouldn't worry if I were you. Just fill them as they appear.

Yep thought as much, they are only hairline cracks, probably more concerned as too how deep they were, some also run the entire 3m length. What would you suggest filling with as being hairline cracks screed wouldn't work, what about latex or a cement slurry maybe?
