Cracks in ceiling fill ot wallpaper over?

Hi
I have removed a few some 'lovely' textured ceiling paper. However, I am left with several cracks in the ceiling plaster. The ceiling has very little movement so planning to just get on with decorating it. My question is should I just fill the cracks and paint over them or wallpaper then paint?

Are we seeing things, or is that a cable buried in the plaster?

No it's just a crack. Light fitting wire bends away from it
