Cracks in internal gable wall

Hi,
I have just been up the loft putting my Christmas decorations away and noticed some large cracks in the mortar of theinternal gable wall. These cracks are not visible outside at all. Some areas are wide enough to get my finger into. The house is detached and was built in 2003. What are your thoughts? Serious?
