don't forget the physics - mass is rather a key factor. Plus a car built like a tank will leave the occupants scraping their liquified internal organs off their chest cavity.

yes, sadly a very mistaken belief, wont drive a small car, they're not safe. Top Gear I think Crashed a modern (mini???) into an older freelander. The results were the occupants of mini walked away, occupants of freelander probably killed.

Do they crash test planes?
Yes they have done.
Boeing crashed a passenger jet into the Mexican (?) desert . There is a film / T.V programme of the event from inside the plane.
Crash dummies were strapped into the seats ect . Obviously the pilot parachuted out of the plane after he had set it on its remote crash course
The programme / documentary has been on the T.V
And NO I do not have a link .
