creating a roof balconey

hi i am hoping to use a velux balcony system for our attic bedroom.

to create the balcony you pinch some of the attic flooring area.

my question is how do you go about sealing the out side floor area. i think you have to build a new floor structure which angles away from the room towards the guttering.

not sure where to go from here.

also does anyone know who makes the balcony windows apart from velux. i have looked at fakro,rooflite and xtralite and none seem to make the balcony system i need.

You basically design and build this as a flat roof.

If you will be on there very occasionally then it may need no further cover treatment. Otherwise, yo will have to lay some promenade tiles or light slabs
