creating corner post with plinth

If the laminate is floating you shouldn't trap it with weight of the washing machine "expansion & contraction of the boards" it's not recommended.

Another quick point, the end panel behind the corner post can be cut at the bottom to allow the plinth to run into the side of the plinth under the 800 corner base, it looks neater and continues the flow of the plinth.

Washing machine weight won't make any difference, similarly to any furniture on floating laminate which usually weight a lot more than a washing machine.
