Yeah you have a point there, also it's a pain to try and find one, alot more expensive too. Do you think it would be a better idea for the door to the utility to open into the dining room?

No, keep dining room space clear, opening into utility doesn't really affect storage capacity unless you are trying to ram it full of stuff
