creda elecric shower going hot & cold

Hi,

I have a creda electric shower which is quite new. It keeps going hot then cold with the led going out.

Have checked water filter - ok.
removed shower head & problem still occurs
Lots of water flow when valve set to cold
monitored voltage at thermostat & it goes out when the led goes out. Water does not feel overly hot.

Could the thermostat be faulty & switching off at too low a temperature or is there something else that I can check for?

you say there is lots of water flow when cold, but what about when turned to hot?

it restricts the flow so that the water stays in the heater for longer, but if it drops too low then I'd imagine newer showers would have flow switches to switch off the element if the preassure gets too low..

this may sound silly a mate had the same thing went round checked everything found the front cover not 100% tight
