Crimp joining in trunkin

Hi, what does everyone think about crimp joining in trunkin, is this acceptable as once the twin+earth cable has it's outer sheath broken surley the trunkin can act has the secondary layer of protection.

Can't see any reason why not, it is quite common to run conduit singles in trunking.
