Crumling wall Picture

Hi Guys,
Taking some tiles off in the kitchen but unfortuntely taking more off than i bargained for. The tiles are coming off with about an inch of wall with them too as the wall is very crumbly.

What's the best solution for fixing this to patch it up ?.
