I have brown gutters and have replaced a corner join.
It's an old plastic guttering system and the corner piece I bought from B&Q fits however the seal does not make good contact all round especially at the trough of the gutter - hence a steady leak.
I was thinking of using CT1 to seal it.
My question is do you just apply it to the outside. I would prefer not to do this as it just gives a messy finish.
Could you remove the gutter seal inside and apply CT1 where the seal should be?
Where is best to apply the sealant?
