I want to get the CU replaced in my house, currently I have an old wylex domino and a newer smaller CU that I assume was fitted to comply with the regs when the previous owners had the kitchen installed.

I need 6 ways -
Upstairs Ring
Downstairs Ring
Upstairs lighting
Downstairs lighting
Cooker
Garage fed via SWA terminated into a seperate box

Could do with maybe two spare for anything in the future.

Would rather go for RCBO's

I'm after something of good quality, before people start, no, I won't be installing it myself.

I had an MK Sentry dual RCD CU fitted at my previous house on recommendation of the electrician and the quality was pretty crap, I want to avoid the same scenario.

Hager is probably the best brand on the market, but I have no objection to using the Wylex or schneider brand. The RCBOs for Wylex will be a couple of quid cheaper in price.
i think having only 6 circuits maybe a little tight.
Consider separate circuits for both below counter kitchen appliances and above counter appliances and possibly a dedicated circuit for the boiler/heating system.

MK is pants!

Sounds like Hagar is the brand to go for.

It's a replacement board not a full rewire, so just intend to stick with the circuits that are currently there. Assuming nothing untoward is turned up when it's tested anyhow.

Another vote for Hager, but I also really like Eaton, although yet to use any of their Ammendment 3 boards.

Their RCBOs are great. And they make a board with extra height for RCBO room
