To make things look neater I'd like to move an FCU for kitchen under cupboard lighting from next to a socket up to the wall above the cupboards (and therefore out of sight). Is this allowed under regs?

You mean a light spurred from a socket that won't be visible?

Nothing stopping you from doing that too.
