Could someone give me the current status with regards back boilers.
We have a Baxi (Bermuda) I think that is probably about 10 years old and never had a problem. We have the basic ch/plumbing cover by British Gas who service the boiler every year.
We are always being told that we should think about changing to a combi and that fitting a new back boiler is illegal.
What is the current standing with regards back boilers. Are you absolutely unable to fit a new one? If so, why does Baxi continue to make them and replacement fire fronts?
