I want to put curtains and a stiff pelmet up at a window with no reveal. The window top is flush with the wall. Ideally I'd prefer just curtains but we have vertical blinds up which need to stay and there's no room for a pole . My idea was to make a wooden pelmet with track attacked behind. Has anyone got a better idea please?

If there's no room for a pole, could you really fit a pelmet?
I guess there's no reason why you couldn't incorporate a pole within a pelmet if you like....but of course the real reason for having a pelmet was to hide the curtain gear in the first place.
Does the window reach to the ceiling or something?
