hi,
I have a window frame is 19cm away from the ceiling from one side of the window frame and 19.5cm away from the other.

Niether frame nor ceiling is exactly level

The question is would you use the window frame or the ceiling as the line or put up a level rail somewhere in between?

thanks

anton

heeellloo and welcome antonumia :D :D :D

i personaly wouldnt use a level

you need to line the curtains up with the bottom of the window or floor as these are the points you will notice discrepancys

so if your using short curtains use the window frame for refference

if they are long use the window or floor whichever they are nearest to

or even a radiator if there is one fitted under window.

0.5 cm is a small error.

Some curtians may not hang well from a non level rail so my advice would be go for lining up the base of the curtians PROVIDED they will hang well with the rail not level.
