Curtain track in conservatory.

We've had a proper roof put onto our conservatory recently. My wife wants curtains up in there now. They won't be heavy duty, but the only place to put the rail is to screw into the UPVC covering at the top of the windows. I've posted a pic. Is it ok to do this... I was going to drill a very small pilot hole do the screw would bite ok.

screws bite quite well into upvc but bear in mind its hollow section so the screw will only be holding by a few mms
 
That's what I thought. It's a lightweight track and curtains so hopefully should be fine. I can't think of any other way to do it
