Hello _ wonder if anyone has an insight on this.

We are an end terrace, on the end wall is an access door which runs under our property. The property next to us has gardens (block of flats). My question is that other tenants where we live believe we have a 1m strip beyond our wall, which makes sense to me for accessing access door, flower beds, footings, maintenance etc. Our neighbours think otherwise. We have had plans sent to us from the land registery and it is still not clear. Does anyone know if it is standard or not to have 1m boundary beyond end wall. Or if it is a case by case situation. We just really like to know one way or the other, and have something in print. And other than the land registry in Durham where else can we go, the plans they sent where so small as to be worthless.
