Cut through cable on Makita electric chainsaw

Subject says it all really. A couple of feet from the saw.

Now, my Bosch hedge trimmer has a waterproof plug and socket arrangement in line in the cable in about the same position, so the tool can be unplugged from the bulk of the cable. Does anyone know what the proper name for one of these connectors is, and where I can buy one online, to repair the cable on the chainsaw?

Use one of these to repair connection and it will offer an extra second or two of protection if you catch it with the blade again.It will also weight the flex keeping it out the way.
