Hi Guys,
Hope you can help. Had roof re-slated. The roofers have left cut offs between the roofing felt and the slates such that, in a couple of place, there are visible bulges in the roofing felt. Initially, I do not think this will cause a problem but over time will start to (a) cause tears in the roofing felt (which is a synthetic material by the way) or (b) cause cut off slates to drop down the gap between roofing felt and slates - neither of which seems desirable. I have phoned the roofer who is a nice guy and he states that this is OK and I trust what he says but just seek reassurance that this is normal practice within the industry.
Thanks
