Morning all..... I'm trying to cut a porcelain tile its 985x215 I'm taking 200 off the lenth using a fairly robust manual tile cutter I've made several passes to scribe the line of cutting but when I press down on the handle to make it crack on the line it does not seem to want to go.... not sure if I should force more pressure onto it I'm worried about damaging the larger part of the tile
    any help would be appreciated.
ps. I have an electric wet tile cutting wheel but was hoping to limit it to the complicated cuts.

Is it professional rail cutter or is it a cheapo type?
Does the cutting tip/blade need replacing?
