What's the best way to do this?

Got a 450mm cabinet to cut around chimney breast.

The gap on left is 65mm and on the right the gap is 20mm
The overhang once installed will be 7cm

Basixslly ill have no cabinet left.

How do I tackle this?

Is best way to just cut a 7cm strip off each side of base cabbinet, screw this to adjacent cabinets to allow me to hang a cupboard door and some sort of shelf?

Forget the cabinets. If you can do without the shelf attach a vertical piece of 18mm MFC or Contiboard as a spacer to the adjacent cabinets where the buttress cabinets should be (use small angle plates). Fix your "false" drawer fronts/doors to that by screwing through the back of the spacer board into door/drawer panels. You'll need something like 3.5 x 30 or possibly 35mm chipboard screws. Best if you clamp the items you wish to screw together before starting.

If you absolutely want those cupboards then trim back out with a jigsaw and install a new back (15mm Contiboard or 18mm MFC), fixing through the sides with carcass screws or chipboard screws (4.0 x 40mm). Set out carefully before you start screwing!

Cheers. I decided to cut the side panel so I can attach a cupboard front. The only issue it as it's only connecting to an end panel the other side, not sure how to fix the end panel so it's the width or door so door fits flush?

This is what I've done so far.
