Cutting malleable iron

Hello

What's the best grinder disc to cut 6mm thick malleable iron (to trim down keeclamp fittings)? Some Youtube videos say masonry diamond discs are better than the usual metal cutting discs but I'm reluctant to believe everything I hear on Youtube... I can see why a diamond disc might work better since malleable iron is more brittle than steel.

I’d just use 1mm slitting discs in an angle grinder......you’ll get through in no time.
