cutting out a flashing chase

Im cutting out a horizontal flashing chase and ive to go round a chimney.
How do i cut into the corners?

You need an apron and stepped flashing to go around a chimney. Google lead flashing aprons and it will show you a pic and diagram.

Im only going round 3 sides of the chimney...the chimney runs along the outside of my house up the gable end.
A lean to roof will go around the chimney so ill have to cut into corners where wall meets chimney...just wondering how to cut the chase into the corners.

use a longish drill bit, in a drill, obviously.

cheers for that...was thinking on those lines just wasnt sure a drill bit would cut the mustard!
