I need to replace a damaged switch cable.

If I want to run the new cable in oval conduit can it be tweaked into the back box to make installing the new cable easier, or do I need a oval to round convertor and then a bush?

Would rather have the conduit going into the box than finishing before and then a rubber grommet on the round opening to the box.

Thanks.

Assuming its PVC conduit you're using I cant see anything wrong with leaving it sticking into the backbox by a few mm.
