i live in a timber framed house, and i've noticed recently a section of brickwork where the two courses beneath the dpc remain constantly wet.
Should i be concerned?

As long as they are below the DPC, then I wouldn't overly worry.
If you have just a localised section below DPC that is constantly wet when elsewhere below DPC is dry then I would investigate why that is happening.
If they were all similarly wet then it is probably just the type of brick used and not really a concern. Your DPC is clearly doing its job to stop the moisture in them rising.

How do you know its wet ? are you using a damp meter or does it look wet. A damp meter will show wet with only 5% moisture so the DPC is doing its job and as long as the bricks are not painted they can breath and evaporate the moisture into the atmosphere
