Hi all
I recently removed some tiles in my bathrooom, and found a hugh patch of paster underneath is wet. This is the area near the shower. I guess it is because the water go through the gaps of the tiles and went underneath. The colour of the wet patch is dark orange and some of it is loose.
What can I do to resolve this problem? Should I take the plaster off and install a plaster board and then skim it before putting on the tiles? Or can this be an easier job, just to wait for it to dry? I only have one week to complete this job. We need the shower.
Also what sort of plaster should I buy? I have one-coat plaster, but the colour seems different from those used by tradesman. Is it ok to use that?
