hi im about to brick up the exsisting back door for a replacement kitchen i just need to know do i need a dpm on the internal brick wall as well as the external wall or just on the external wall any help most welcome .

You are talking about the horizontal DPC around your foot level and not the vertical one between the cavity around the door reveals arent you ?
 
your talking about the dpc at finished floor level i think..ok technically you only need to put it externally but i would put it internally too..dont forget to lap it onto your existing dpc by at least 3 inches
